Well, decided to write on this, maybe to give people a look into the life of an unlucky coach (or at least a Mostly unlucky coach). I've been trying out diffrent teams, and so far the one that I actually like to play has been My nurgle. Granted, I don't have a single team that has a TV over 1300 (Other than a brief stint on my dwarves where I bought a Deathroller and a few games later dropped his overpriced ride).

Out of the diffrent game modes, seems like I'm liking Blackbox the most, Mainly because I like playing (not just winning), but I don't like the idea of "picking" my opponents. That just seems like cheating to me for some reason. The only downside I'm seeing to Blackbox is some of the REALLY Crazy matches that seem to come on up. One of the things that will stick in my head for a long time would be This team, when I had to face him 2 games in a row. Annoyed me to no end htat there are teams out there that are like that, where they put points into a couple of players, and that's it. After trolling the site for a few days, that seems to be the norm, Which saddens me.

That's the counter-argument in favor of Ranked. Box for convenience, Ranked for selection.

First of all ! Welcome to fumbbl !

There's probably a lot of players like this (and studman is one of the most known I think) but I don't think they're the norm - so far most of the players I've met intend to win no matter the cost (to my team) so I end up losing and having lots of maimed players ! :D So don't worry it will turn better I think :)

My biggest problem is taht the whole like 120 or so SPP one 1 or 2 players at a very low TV, it can demolish new teams just starting, which isn't very fun for brand new coaches to FUMBBL like myself.

yes, some people are pricks with so little self-esteem that they have to rely on beating up children to feel strong.

Well, better they beat up the virtual players of newcomers than real kids. And as long as they are busy here, they are unlikely to procreate.

So, black_devil ... yes, it is annoying, but don't let them have an effect on your mood. That would make them feel what they think is feeling good.

Thanks Ancre for the welcome, been wanting to play Bloodbowl for years after getting hooked on the tabletop, but no one wants to play, and the board is outrageously priced for someone on a budget. It also doesn't help that the key rolls that I need always seem to turn up skulls or 1's. I know that isn't my opponent's fault, but it sucks to see that he views his whole team other than a few players expendable, while I'm trying to get those position players just on my roster.

hey dude

ignore studmandudebro. He's a tool, and is just looking to annoy people.

have fun, most of the coaches here are decent enough guys.

Welcome to Fumbbl. Some tips

1) Don't worry too much about the forums. We like to complain about imperfections, this doesn't really mean that they are a major problem ;-).

2) Studmandudebro types are quite rare. I have been playing on Fumbbl since 2003 and I only got a handful of bad experiences.

3) Deal with bad experiences by either winning or fouling. Playing Studmandudebro would be worth it just for the opportunity to kill that Werewolf =).

4) Don't make too many dice rolls. This is a major problem for a lot of people. You just don't get the same feeling of "I am taking a risk now..." that you get by rolling real world dice which means that a lot of coaches make lots of dodges and then get surprised when their 35th dodge was snake eyes on their elf catcher.

So you played loads of games, and the one you give the most attention to was in your eyes the worst game you played.

....Just pull up your shoulders dont care, or laugh about it(i like bloody matches) and go play again. Or take a chill-out lol, you need those when you play bloodbowl.

studman bro is pretty funny, can't believe some people are actually dumb enough to feed the troll lol.
