Sensitive, shy 145 club with very long legs seeks experienced coaches for mentoring, intellectual discussion about horns and drinks at the arm bar.
The 145 is FUMBBL’s learning league and we’re looking for mentors to help us out.
We have run a trial mentoring program during the last 1.5 months where 6 mentors helped 6 mentees to improve at the game, the feedback has been really positive
“I think I could happily be mentored for the next 5 years and still continue learning.”
“I was struggling with risk management, screening and caging. My mentor identified some of my problems such as basing my cage, taking on too many dodges or one block rolls and setting up my screens / positioning better. I immediately started getting a few more results than usual.”
“I feel like I did something good with the time I invested to the mentor program. I'll join the next season too” – (from one of our mentors)
We now have 13 people waiting on the list that number is growing - we could use some more help
It is a commitment; the mentoring will last for 6 weeks (the length of the 145 league tournament) and can involve playing a game, match reviews and answering all types of questions. If you have been around FUMBBL for a while and have a bit if time to spare it may be a way of giving something back to the community, and help shape the next generation of coaches who you would like to meet on the field? It may even be a way of helping them into the wider game, like playing RRR’s or brawls for example.
If you like the idea of helping but can’t commit to mentoring then just come over and give us some tips and occasional word of wisdom, we’re always looking for good people like you.
So if you don’t have a monstrous mouth, and think you might be made of the right stuff, hop on to the
145 discord and ping one of the admins.
