And so... here we are!
I've been playing Cyanide's Bloodbowl Legendary Edition for a while and now a friend suggested me this website to try out and enjoy some online matches.
I must say that, after being used to the nice 3D interface of the aforementioned game, I was a bit lost at the small simple interface (which, btw, played on a 27" @ 2560x1440 is veeeeeery small :P ) but after spectating some games I got a hold of it.
I then created a Norse team and joined the Blackbox division to try out and see how well/bad it goes.
First match was against an italian guy (I am italian myself :P ) playing nurgle which destroyed my team and took one of my guys as a souvenir.
I lost 0-2 due to a mistake I did because I was still learning how the interface worked among many other things... after some years that I've not been playing BB I'm a bit rusty.
Second match I won against a Dark Elf team just barely 1-0, some good decision (and a couple of risky plays by my opponent) lead me to a touchdown in the first half and then I closed in in the second half and just played def, killing his guys while I was on it.
In the third match I got completely outplayed by an amazon team and lost 0-4. I must say that he had quite a good team with several guys already level 2-3, so he had the right stuff to dominate the match since the beginning.
Going on, the fourth match against another italian guy who was playing Chaos was a total massacre.
We had a very large number of casualties on both sides but eventually I managed to dominate scoring 2 TD in the first half while taking out crucial players in the opponent team with serious injuries.
Eventually he conceded during the second half as he was left with 4 guys and didn't want to risk other injuries.
I must say I had some good luck in that match too while my opponent just kept receiving double skulls and all that jazz.
My last match was against another guy playing slann.
I got a lucky first touchdown as he suffered an unwanted turnover earlier which allowed me to blitz and score in the same turn.
Then I just kept taking his guys out (sometimes I forget that to win at this game you actually have to score, lol) and dominate the match through numerical advantage as his guys were quite squishy and my team just kept trampling them.
That's all for now folks.
So far I'm enjoying fumbbl and plan on playing regularly in the Blackbox League to get better and be more competitive.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I really appreciate it!
I'd like to specify that I really really enjoyed Cyanide's product and had tons of fun playing the campaign offline, but when it came to the online... well, I must say that fumbbl is the way to go.
I'll probably keep playing my offline campaign from time to time as it is a fast and enjoyable way to play BB, but for some serious competition, I'll be right here. :)
