well, i'd say thats more because of the kind of childish "i know something you don't lawl" i've been getting. Large injokes do make it harder for new or returning members to feel part of the community and join in again.

basically, my earlier conversation went

You've only been away 7 months max. you can;t have forgotten already that around 90% of the chat in the main Chanel is just complete and utter garbage. Especially of you are going to ask an open question like that with potentially mocking answers. It attracts complete idiots whose main source of fun is upsetting others.
