I never feel bad about killing players or mangling teams, but in this case I feel bad that RC doesn't have much of a chance in the final. It stinks of that crappy chaos coach who can't play ball so he only plays to kill, and that's not the sort of coach I'd like to be.
I was all ready to blame the dice, pretty much throughout. My claw/rsc guy niggled himself on his first turn blitz (the apo saved him), I rolled an obscene amount of skulls in the first four turns and more than my fair share of pushes throughout; I failed a 3+ dodge with reroll to blitz the ball carrier in the last turns, he -2d powed my troll for the first TD - but the fact is I never should have been in that sort of position in the first place. I played like garbage. I couldn't protect the ball against six or seven players in the first half, and I overextended myself against eight in the second. RC played really well, took his chances and stalled quite well at the end. If I'm being honest with myself, with the luck I had this should've been 2-0 to me. I just did not position well at all. Lives and learns I suppose.
The one thing that did infuriate me is that my +AG chaos warrior aged a niggle on 16 after the game. I've fired the 4 niggles I had and now I have a skinny eleven to rebuild and learn to play some ball without relying on 3 cas a game from a sharpened freak like Amaranth (who is now fired due to aging).
Like I said, RC, I don't feel bad about killing pixels but I'm sad I played really badly and screwed you over in the process. I'd happily have my GLT team mauled so that you can get a good game in the final. Best of luck dude, give 'em hell.
