Woodstock is right... us North Americans don't have this lovely game as infused in our culture. But aside from that, there's also a silly tendency of some folks only wanting to play against people they know. Don't know where that comes from...

Hah! North Americans complaining about timezone differences ruining their online experience due to lack of crowd. Try living in Australia ;)
I find that even with 30 odd, it's often not TOO hard to get a game in box or ranked if you're not fussy about which teams you use.

I'm here in CR also and usually play later in the evening after the kiddo goes to bed. Make a few more L teams and we can square off a night or two per week.
