“And so the Boars end their 2 game winning streak!
The Dark Elves came to play, hitting hard and often early in the match. The Boars dug in and managed to even up the score thanks again to the Fox. It wasn't meant to be though, as the Elves relentlessly scored yet another one for the win. As always, the highlights-
The Boars managed to continue their tradition of never winning a coinflip. Thanks Nuffle!
There were some suspicions that the pitch had been oiled before the match as the Dark Elves kept losing their footing. The Ferret had no comment.
Gloomy Gustav, in a rare show of team spirit, managed to kill a Dark Elf lineman. When asked for a post-game comment he quipped: "What does it matter? We're all dead anyway, we're just waiting our turn."
Felix Flick redeemed himself somewhat by actually passing that little round thing we call the ball. We've given him his smokes back as a reward.
Well, back to the clubhouse for some R&R. Till next time True Beleivers....
Hats off to a very fun and friendly opponent!”
