After the debacle of the previous meeting against <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=41939>Meat Pie</a>, Nurgle backed up his glorious team this time as <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&team_id=42099>Leprosy</a> neutralized the Mummy threat as they won the championship game of the Buffel-Liga's inaugural season on a score of 1-0 with a casualty count of 3-2 in favor of the Rotters as well.

The Undead won the coin toss, but elected to kick first, and Leprosy began their march downfield with great confidence and success, until a miscommunication between the coach and his players caused confusion on the field. After a couple turns fighting over the ball, the Rotters were able to recover, and scored to close the first half.

A heat wave during the first half was of only minimal effect, only causing a single Mummy to miss the final turn of the half.

In the second half, the Decayed Ones got the ball and started their march downfield, only to find that the wall of Rot was tougher than they expected. As they tried to move around it, they got bogged down in the tough defense and were unable to advance for several turns.

In desperation, the Pies tried a last minute run for the end zone, but the ballcarrier outran his protection, and blitzing his way past a lone Beastman, he proved unable to sustain his pace and collapsed at the goal line, guaranteeing the victory for Nurgle's warriors.
