“Nargothrond XXXIII - 145 Mini League TR 175 game 1
This was the opening game for the Gravel Fist tribe in the Nargothrond mini-league. They gave a decent accounting of themselves, inflicting 3 casualties though coming up short of the win (or at least the tie).
Highlights included Varguk Elfchewer scooping up the ball and rushing all the way to the endzone, making 2 tough dodges, only to fail the third easy dodge into the endzone. Also of note was the rousing battle between Durgug Dwarfspitter (Gravel Fist) and Oren Orcsbane (Redgum Rabble). The hatred between these two was so intense that each knew only one would leave the pitch. In T8 of the second half, Durgug prevailed with an assist from Gorebag and spitted the mighty Oren! The crowd errupted in cheers, and a potential hero of the dwarves was laid to his final rest.
It was a fun game Redgum, the 1st half light on casualties but the 2nd half more than making up for it. Good luck in the Nargothrond!”

Oren was layed to rest and Theron's decorated career is now at risk from his niggling injury.
It was atoothless performance. No CAS caused despite repeatedly sending orcs to the KO bin. When the Elfchewer made his audacious dives for the end zone the game seemed headed for overtie, but Theon's last ditch tackle and subsequent recovery of the ball secured the win. The Rabble's first in the 145 and a promising strat in the Nargothrond minileague.
