“At 2050 TV this was the biggest the Villains had ever been rated. But against a skilled High Elf team we needed to bring in a bribe and a babe to help us out. Kraklow picked up and moved to the middle as we pow'd down Elves. The bribe was used in moments when the eagle eyed ref saw Walking Dead stun a downed jumpup lino. The advance was comfortable, and was helped with block Elves rerolling double both downs to skulls twice! Casualties by the Black Wight and the Mountain vs line Elves, and the ref sending one off meant we could stall out our drive.

The Elves setup for a OTTD but the 2nd zomb hit went down. Second half they whizzed up the flank and when superstar zomb Quickfingers cas'd a blitzer they rushed off a pass for a catcher to equalize. They also made the Black Wight miss the next drive with a KO hit.

Werdna surprisingly caught the short Elf kick and handed off to Kraklow. The Elves crowded in and we managed to push the sidestepping shadower away from him so he could dash off. The Mountain badly hurt a catcher and with a blitz attempt leading to a gfi fail death for Soda V things were looking good for us. Especially with a new Zombie to welcome! A few Elves went back as Kraklow went near the corner. Alas I didn't cover him and a blitzer and an ag5 catcher easily got through to him! The catcher stunned him and caught the ball. Suddenly all the comforting feelings were gone and we were staring defeat in the face. A pass to a Line Elf at the LOS looked to have the game in the bag. But no! Bonetaker the skeleton dodged out next to him. Then Faceless Hunter dodged and avoided the shadowing player before blitzing the Elf with a KO! He got the ball, was covered, and just had time to get the winner at the end of the match. The game was saved!

Solid hitting got us through today. The Forgotten Villains had been on an appalling run of 8 defeats and now have turned the tide!”
