“The rain was pouring down on the players. The lizardmen kicked it short. Incredibly superstar zombie Quickfingers caught the ball on the line of scrimmage! However at move 3 the last player we wanted with the ball. After some hits, including the mountain stunning the Krox, Quickfingers went back to handoff to a ghoul but it was dropped! As the opponents swooped around Kraklow managed a pickup and went through the gap left in the middle. He stalled for a little while we got the blocking upper hand. Couldn't delay too long but Mumm-ra did cas a Saurus, who was apo'd, and then Duke death badly hurt their strong skink. 1-0.

Our skele was cas'd but regen'd. A skink then fumbled the wet ball. Faceless Hunter was heading for the ball, and it was fumbled again! He blitzed the carrier down and picked the ball up. So close but a rookie saurus pow'd down the ghoul and a skink picked up. The half action not over and Duke Death pow'd it down. Faceless Hunter bravely went to the endzone to hopefully receive a game winning TD. The Black Wight picked it up and passed (with rr) but FH couldn't make the catch! The half ends with him being surfed by a couple of rookie skinks and he will miss the next match after a crowd beating! So close to 2-0 but the half ends 1-0.

A skink gets the ball. The saw player fails to cause hurt, and the Black Wight seriously injures it. There follows a lizardmen advance before pulling back. The Mountain succeeds in taking the skink carrier down! It picks up but the Mountain has another chance. He break tackles.. but then rrs one gfi and fails the next! What an opportunity missed again. They get back on track and just manage to make their way to equalize.

We still have time for a meaningful drive but there is a big pitch invasion, including taking down our receiver! Time drips away and two pass attempts are failed due to dropped catches! The first failed by Yggardis due to that rain again.

We blocked well today but disappointingly just didn't quite take the opportunities to turn it in to a victory, and the Lizards do well to keep the draw.
