We took some real hard hits in this contest, especially in turn 3 of our defence when two zombies had to regen big damage and another was KO'd. But Ailon is a big risk taker, with loner block rerolls etc and his beastman's pass attempt was fumbled. We pressured the ball with Mummies but a Chaos Warrior impressively got that ball out and did the pass himself. Faceless Hunter was still just in range to blitz and knock down their receiver. The ball scattered in to our endzone and a Beastman managed to pick up to score.

On our drive we were in trouble when there was a perfect defence setup and then a Wight and zombie were ko'd. But we were just about able to make space and Kraklow could escape to equalize after a Chaos Warrior fell over when making an unneeded rush.

Second half it was still 11 v 11. With players soon taken out including the death of a Ghoul, Yggardis, after a trip with the ball it was again a challenge. Seal also had to regen potentially fatal damage. But finally our players showed their power after the Nurgle side got the ball but missed another pass. Faceless Hunter took the ball forward and we made some big hits, including the Mountain killing off a beastman that we gladly recruited. So we scrape in the 2-1 win.
