It didn't take long for the Pansies to score. A handoff and then a pass to a catcher whose excellent agility allowed him to easily catch and dodge away under pressure.

Early in their drive defence an Elf catcher surprisingly tripped up. After that we started to take control and dealt out some KO hits. Werdna also cas'd another catcher. The Elves fought back bravely against those we left in the middle of the pitch, including giving our guard Rot Zombie a niggling injury. But Yggardis scored the stalled equalizer by half-time.

Second half many of the Elves returned after the benefit of drinking a couple of kegs. Though Duke Death smashed another into the cas box and a crazed fan ko'd a catcher with a thrown rock. Yggardis caused consternation when he fumbled, but we had some cover and he also had just enough time to scrape a pickup. After that it was just about staying calm and keeping ahead of the Elves in the bash race. We did just enough.

Interestingly the Elves attempted 51 dodges today, and we did none. Shows how the Villains wanted to get stuck in! But the Pansies had some misfortunes.”
