“A very long game for the rats...turn 2 of the match, and Sai, our uber-gutter, decides to a block a nearby orc blitzer who's bothering him. Dauntless works! Double-skulls...hmm, ok, team reroll...double-skulls...oh, oh...Sai has been seriously injured! Do you want to use your apo (Sai--SI--MNG)? Boy, am I glad I didn't decide to use my apo! Hurt like a dickens not having him in the game, but at least he'll live to see another match--these orcs were holding nothing back! Fouls up the wazoo (badly hurting our RO, who got MVP and FINALLY got his first skill after 19 games...), two more legit smacks for cas (apo negating a RIP to my tentacled linerat--he owes his life to Sai!), and another badly hurt gutter who tripped dodging for the endzone. Meanwhile his orcs could do no wrong, passing, picking up the ball, hitting, cas'ing, whatever.

Afterwards, Wushu was delighted to grow his own set of tentacles to match Kama's, but our thrower had to suffer a double indignity--not only did he receive a concussion to lower his av, but he also aged a niggle after the game. With the niggles already present, there's no room for another, even if he is a strong-armed accurate thrower. Lost fans, zero income for second consecutive game, lost a player permanent for second straight game, mega-star sitting out next game, only 10 rats standing (and who knows if the two niggled stars will show?)...next game could be even uglier than this one was!”
