#2 Steel – Dead (RIP)
#9 Clash – Smashed Knee (NI)
What can I say? This looked an even match on paper, and in terms of ball play it turned out that way. However, it turned out to be a savage beating for the Chainsaw as heavy casualties saw them fail to win the game.

The game started in promising fashion as the Saw's mighty Max went clear on goal, only for a Themrian Thro-Ra to find an extra yard and nail him from behind.

Shortly afterwards Steel, a young black orc with his whole career ahead of him, is grizzled by a Themrian Mummy. It was a short career!

At 1-1 the game is tight, but also grueling and both sides are taking heavy loses. Of course, the Nothing but Bones regenerate and recover from their injuries, and the dwindling numbers of Chainsaw fail to prevent Hatecraze from stumbling more than half the length of the pitch to snatch the winner. It took the lumbering mummy almost an entire half to make the score, but nonetheless he reaches the endzone.

The last play is one of the most exciting as Clash steals through the Themrian lines to get a clean run at goal. Just as it looks like the Chainsaw have secured a deserved draw, with just a few strides left, he falls over his shoelaces, damaging his knee. On the bright side, every game he'll play in the future he'll be certain to tie his boots properly.
