They say Steam is named after the copious amount of steaming sweat produced by his hard work. Few ran harder or covered more ground than Steam and he was a formidable player in the Blood Bowl area.
Blood Bowl had always been his favourite pastime and the Chainsaw scouts were alerted when there were numerous deaths during a game between two tribes. His power and skill were instantly recognised and he was recruited for the Chainsaw. With his ball-winning abilities, he frequently played pivotal roles in games and often got on the scoresheet.
The latter stages of his career were played in the shadow of Razor and the resultant lack of attention caused him to suffer from depression. Not training properly, he started to show the signs of age and picked up an injury. Combined with the loss of motivation of being a secondary figure along with being part of a trio of dominant players unbalancing an inexperienced side, Coach Chainsaw had to retire him for the good of the 'Saws.
As an orc who lived and breathed Blood Bowl, his one regret was not dying on the pitch. Fortunately that rectified when, during a charity match to fund a raid on a nearby human settlement, two ogres pull both his arms off and beat him with them until he died. He managed to bite off 7 ogre toes and break the leg of a nearby goblin before his jaw was broken. It took the rest of the game for the beating to kill him, with players saying he was laughing in his dying moments. A genuine star player.
