A Jersey Sling, done properly, involves catching a fleeing opponent by the looser clothing around their neck, and then using their momentum to induce a sudden groundwards spiral dive, ideally spearing that oh so fragile collar-bone into the deck.

Jersey Slinga's completion wasn't some backfield SPP cheapie either. In his own words:
"Dis wierd lookin 'fing fell off dis elf wot one of da boyz was mashin'. I sez to meself...dem elves always up to summat wiv all 'dier fancy bitz an' bobs. So I goes to pick it up an' all. Funny lookin' levah fing it was too. Didn't look real tasty or nuffink. I barely get time to have a good lick an' fine out, when me mate Oncomin Truk starts screeeaaaamin' wiv all 'dis "Chuck it here" 'n dat. He was dead serious 'n all. So's I chucked it at 'is 'ead real 'ard like. For fun. Smarmy orc only catches it and buggers off wiv it 'n all. 'Ees quicker 'en me so I didn't bovva to chase 'im. And 'den all them punters up watchin' the fight only go off all completely ape ! I didn't even 'it nuffink. But they was well pleased with summat."
