Mei Xiangs name translates to "Brutal Mauling". Three causalities in his first two games speak a clear language. Brutal Mauling indeed.

Since then Mei Xiang has taken a less in-your-face approach. The experience of two bloody games against Crux of the Crow and Hulgar's Hammerheads taught him that sometimes it's more important to lend support where you can and back up your front lines rather then rush in yourself and care about nothing but the kill.

It took Mei Xiang twelve games to score his first touchdown but he did it, taking another step in becoming a perfectly well-rounded player. He is impossible to push back, which Panda fans attribute to Mei Xiangs exceptional strength and opponents to exceptionally long spikes on his boots he uses to dig deep into the ground.

Mei Xiang is the Pandas most valuable Blitzer of all time, with a market value of 140.000 in his prime. He played 19 games for the Pandas, more than any Blitzer before him. His inability to ever give up led to his death, when, in a game against Bastet where the Pandas were hopelessly outnumbered, he tripped and fell on a desperate attempt to catch up to the Bastet runner, who was about to turn a tie into a win for the amazons. Mei Xiang landed so badly that he broke his neck and died. The Pandas lost not only the game but also their longest-serving and most reliable Blitzer.
