"Why I was voted Most Valuable Player? If I had to guess, I'd say it's because I kept the Mummy busy after Ling Ling got knocked out, but I wouldn't single anyone out personally. We won with a team effort and it was the teamwork that made the highest victory in out clubs history come as sweet and easy as anything. We intercepted their runner before he could move into a protective cage everytime, we moved over the flanks and cut off the ballcarrier from the the Bonez front line, we rushed, we blitzed, we sacked, we scored. Nothing could go wrong. Only on their last drive the Knockin Bonez broke through cleanly in the middle and might have scored a consolation touchdown if time hadn't been running out. And if it hadn't been for Bai Yun who was right where he had to be and stopped the Bonez Runner like the reliable safety that he is."

"My favorite moment of the night was when Jing Jing and I switched our usual roles. I had the ball, and I passed to him and he caught it. We were both out of our element and we pulled it off beautifully. Really, I've seen it go much worse when it was Jing Jing passing and me catching."

"I very very nearly scored a touchdown today before I thought better of it. We're playing Hulgar's Hammerhands next and those dwarfs don't need any more reason to see me as a threat after I ripped one of them off, I mean, ripped the beard of one of them off. I don't want to know what would happen if they saw me as a scoring threat too on top of that. They'd rip some part of me off, and since I can't grow a beard that would be a ugly sight. So instead of running the ball into the endzone I passed it to another player. I figured, there'd be a good chance I'd fumble the ball and then no-one would take me serious as a threat or anything else for that matter. Passing always looks so hard when Jing Jing does it, but, to my disappointment, it turned out to be quite easy, frankly. Now I'm a dangerous thrower that has to be taken out. Curses."
