Jing Jings name translates to "Friendliest of Friendlies".
He has a reputation of performing badly under the slightest pressure. Jing Jing will usually complete the most outrageous passes when it doesn't make a difference between winning and losing, and fail the easiest of passes when it would lead to a sure touchdown.
Concerns have been raised over whether Jing Jing truly has what it takes to play competetive bloodbowl but the coach is holding on to him and trusts Jing Jing to get his act together very soon.
The Pandas second season has seen a much improved Jing Jing, who was finally growing into his role as the Panda playmaker. In the seasons second game Jing Jing completed three passes that resulted in touchdowns and personally scored the third touchdown to round off his best performance to date.
Despite some of his wonky performances, the fans have grown used to Jing Jing and he has made it to something of a cult figure among Panda fans. So his announcement he'd retire at the end of season 2 for personal reasons was met with much sadness and disappointment.
In the end, the stress got to him and proved to much to overcome. We wish Jing Jing and his family good luck in their future life. Jing Jings contributions to the Fighting Pandas on the Bloodbowl pitch will hardly be forgotten. Already the phrase "He Jinged it!" for fumbling a easy pass is seeing more and more use by Panda fans...
