“"I didn't play as a kicker today, my usual position. Coach had to field me as a lineman due to a shortage of players. Even so, I put my kicking boots on and put them to good use. Did you see? I kicked that girl right in the head. Had to be carried out with blood in her hair. Dunno how many more games I have in me, so it's always a good feeling to get to leave the pitch with bloody boots, feeling like you accomplished something today."
--- Ei Mei, Fighting Panda Lineman
"I jinged it. At first, I dropped the ball, the fans shook their heads, I picked up the ball and I threw a perfect pass right into the arms of Hei Feng, the fans went wild. Touchdown Hei Feng! Thank you Jing Jing! Two to One for the Pandas! You couldn't write drama like this. I went from fool to winner and you'll never see a Thrower like me again. I'm sure the fans are going to miss crazy Jing Jing."
--- Jing Jing, Fighting Panda Thrower
"You never know what you get with Jing Jing. It's not a good quality for a Thrower but it makes for exciting moments. Personally, I aim to be the most reliable Quarterback I can be. But that's also because Jing Jing has set the bar as high as it goes for unreliable Quarterbacks. Trying to top him would be futile."
--- Ding Ding, Fighting Panda Thrower
"Two games played and alive, two more to survive to break the Curse. Even if I get injured or killed in my fourth game like all #4s before me, at least I lived long enough to score a touchdown. And what a touchdown it was."
--- Hei Feng, Fighting Panda Blitzer
"You could say the touchdown came out of nowhere. Just like death will come out of nowhere for Hei Feng, poor Hei Feng. When it comes to curses, death is inevitable."
--- Tai Shan
"And if someone knows about death, it's Tai Shan. The way he beat up those Blitzers, that bloody hurt. Ask the amazons. If you can get anything out of them except grunts and cries of anguish."
--- Zhang Xinyan, Fighting Panda Blitzer
"It was a tough game, a tough, hard-fought, bloody game. You think you saw everyone walk off the pitch alive, hurt but safe, and no-one died on the field like what happened in previous games against Bastet, but make no mistake about it. We won and victory comes at a price. Always. For Bastet even defeat comes at a price. They lost points and they lost Ceilican, one of the star players of the league and Bastets number one. Bloodbowl is a tough game and it takes a lot out of you. A physical game like todays often is the one game too much, the one that makes your body break down from all the pain it had to endure. It was so for Ceilican and it is for me. I didn't pass the health check-up after the game. The doctors found I have damaged my body to an extent which is, frankly, unrepairable and, if I continue to play much longer, unbearable. I plan to take drugs to last me to the end of the season and then... the Fighting Pandas are going to need a new captain."

“Ceilican, Bastet Blitzer
"This was a hard fought game on both sides. When players went down, they went down hard. Damnpandas took out half my Sister-Blitzers, and were working on the line women, too. I made them pay, though. I'm still the meanest bitch on the pitch, at least for a little bit longer. All this playing rough has taken it's toll, and I'm gonna call it here pretty soon. I just cant give the game what it deserves anymore. So I'll yield to a younger player, and enjoy my well and hard earned fortunes. Well played, Pandas. Well played."
Kitten, Bastet Thrower
"*wringing her hands in distress* Ouh...this is all my fault! I'm still a rookie and I made a rookie mistake. I didnt think that blitzer was close enough to score before time ran out, so I didnt cover him and moved to cover the side line instead. My mistake cost us a point, and probably puts us out of the title shot for sure. I dont know what to do with myself...Ceilican will probably skin me alive! I've heard all sorts of horror stories of what she does to sisters who make critical mistakes. I'm so dead. *sobs*"
Persian, Bastet Catcher
"Rough first game. I could get the ball, but the Pandas refused to let me keep it. My sisters covered me, but the Pandas still got to me and knocked me silly, twice. Someone needs to tie a carriage to Po's legs so he slows down a bit."
Gato, Bastet Linewoman
"What, so Po can then HIT us with a carriage? I dont THINK so!"
Calico, Bastet Thrower
"Well, the game didnt go as we hoped, but Nuffel and the Great Bambooni were with the Pandas today, what can we do? We'll just take it out on the next team. When do we play the rats again?"”
