#13 Gao Gao – Dead (RIP)
#15 Su Lin – Dead (RIP)
"I don't know ... what to say. I have no words. I .... I saw it all happening in front of my very eyes yet so far away. I was in the backfield with the ball ... waiting for a receiver to open up .... I had to watch as they picked all my possible receivers off one by one, maimed us, crippled us, killed us. When I joined the fray in the second half, I just ... I wanted to add my blood to that of my friends. That's all I was thinking about. But the Great Panda held his claw above me, protected me .... I don't know why he didn't do the same for Su Lin and Gao Gao. I don't know."
--- Jing Jing, Fighting Pandas Thrower

"Most Valuable Player? Are you shitting me? What the fuck are you thinking asking me how I feel about Su Lin being voted MVP you sick fuck? Our most valuable players died on the pitch today. Su Lin and Gao Gao were the hardest working of us and *this* close to their breakthrough as blockers and now they are no more and it's just us left who used to look up to them. Fuck you, fuck the comittee and fuck the MVP award."
--- Bai Yun, Fighting Pandas Linesman

I felt a lot more confident in my team in this game as I get to know them but this was definitely not the outcome I expected after watching the other games the Pandas have played. I'd like to say I won this based on skill, but we all know who I'd be fooling if I entertained that thought.

The luck swung heavily in my favor early in the game, as the knockouts and injuries began to accumulate. At one point early on, fearing a karma-bomb, I left one of his men on the sideline instead of pushing him out of bounds before running in my first score. Though I can't prove this act is what made the difference, after sparing one guy, my orcs started to throw down the hurt like it was red-hot iron burning their hands.

The Crows continue to be injury free, and you can bet your ass I'm knocking on wood as I type that (I knock on wood every tme I even *think* it).

A good game by Sheldon, despite the lopsidedness. I hope he is able to recover his losses and have continued luck in the rest of this tournament.
