Feisty Fred is taking the cursed position as 2nd blitzer on the team, a position previously doomed to failure and violent death. The feisty undead pirate has vowed to break the curse though and has promised his teammates a swig o' rum for every match where he fails to score points.
Fred has started well, and although the Cheerful Deads lost the match Feisty Fred scored the only casualty when he bashed up a warewolf. In the following match he beat a human blitzer half to death and his teammates could be heard moaning about how thirsty they were. In the third match he failed to inflict a casualty and the rest of the crew could finally get their grogs. He was now an accepted and appreciated member of the Cheerful Deads!

Feisty Fred would have died at the hands of Ramtut III in the FUMBBL Minors, but regened his injuries
