"Athletic Blood Bowl Club Sartorial of Marienburg" are known to their fans as "the Dandies" in reference to the club policy of altering the team's kit to refelct the latest sartorial trends and fashions. A policy which led to the disasterous "flares of doom season". They play at the Ranald's Way Stadium in lower Marienburg, near the Seed Market district. The present chairman of the board is the popular Duke Leto. Although he frequently (and embarrassingly) refers to himself by other titles, such as: "Life President of the club", "High-Lord-Team-Captain" and "Rightful King of Albion". Duke is Leto's given name, not a title. He collects bodyguards in the same way some men collect antiquities. He is particularly proud of "Ahmed the murderer"; a man who speaks no Riekspiel and yet is placed in sole charge of contract renewals. Sartorial are not so successful as their fans would have you believe. The club motto is: 'Bis vivit qui bene vivit' - 'He lives twice who lives well'. The club song is: 'Oh come ye to Marienburg and bring ye all of your gold.' |
