"So, when they left?" -someone might say, and that someone would be wrong: they effectively left, but they returned so fast that slower coaches did not notice them! Bitter Runners, a young team founded in 2491 as part of a cooperation protocol between clan Rigens and Clan Moulder, was an experimental team who tried to couple on pitch Rat Ogres and specifically trained guardians in heavy armour. Due to the ease with which team's Rat Ogre Mignolo was punctually trapped by opponents in mid-field, and the heavy armour slowing guardians down on pitch, Bitter Runner plays were always boring and almost unheard of by the big crowd, but things have recently changed. On a friendly game in 2493 FUMBBL season, star Stormvermin "Caress" Samson, first Guardian on-pitch of Mignolo, Bitter Runners' star Rat Ogre, met incidentally a tragic death in a friendly match by the hand of rookie Ogre from Human Team the Bolgosgrad Bears (well, he was effectively only knocked over with no harm, but made the horrible mistake to put hands front when falling -- his Claws -Razor-Sharp, did the rest), Mignolo finally went in his first sanguinary frenzy on the Blood Bowl pitch! That was a sure hit with the fans, and well, that was a hit with almost all the opponents as well, and Bitter Runners grew in popularity. Later in same year, team broke relationships with Clan Moulder, with Mignolo refusing to accept a Master again (and showing his 8-inch sharp disappointment to would-be Guardians), and by doing this changed colours from canonical red and green to the current scheme of red and blue. The captaincy of the team went to Super-Star Gutter Runner Gutz, the scoring machine of the team, and adding to this the decision to make Mignolo run loose on the pitch again, the team is going now from strength to strength. <br> <b>Team Honours:</b> None as yet! <b>Hall of Fame:</b> "Caress" Samson </p>
