The men of Mannerheim, tired of having their new rules football team beat year after year, changed the method of play in their game. Coach Mack Shanahan instructed them to stop taking falls and start putting the hit back into the game. After the team started laying low its opponents, and getting ejected in every final, the GW decided they would make a fine NAFL team. The men saw this as a new opportunity to bring home a cup. With a fresh start and the Blood Bowl Championship just around the corner, the Men set out to relearn the rules of a proper style of football and the goal of a cup in hand, even if they have to steal it from the winning team!

The Men first match of the season was set against the TwistedUnits. (Chaos Dwarf) The Men had a hard time holding onto the ball in the first half and turned it over for a score. They were able to inflict two serious injuries on the TwistedUnits, but sustained three injuries of their own. In the end the end zone remained out of reach as Rod Steelman could not get the ball to Mikahl Puntar for a score.
