The royal family of the Maledreads has often watched in admiration at the famous exploits of teams such as the Blood Falcons, and so, finally, with several royal cousins and his personal guard in tow, the crown prince Maledread himself plays (albeit under an assumed name) the noble art of Bloodbowl! The Blades have an unusual and undesired record after 2 games. Played 2, retired 2 teams. Undesired because if elven opponents are thinned out, the Dark Elves will have to find someone else to play the glorious Elfbowl game with, not an enticing prospect against Khemri, Dwarves, Orcs, Chaos Dwarves etc! This is the first Elven team I'll be trying to 'protect' by playing against other elf style teams. Normally I'd just play anyone then wonder why my team is dead in 2 games and needs a constant series of recovery games before I'm fielding 6 players and getting slaughtered every time. Some may call that cherry picking - I'd call it tired of being cherry picked... At some point this will of course change, but I'll be trying to nurture the team to a point where playing bashy sorts won't have me reaching to click on retire. Again. :S |
