TEAM BIO Inspired by the great Chaos All-Stars this team tries to uncover the secrets of the legends...the hard way. Struggling on without success this horde never gives up. During their first 20 games they only managed to beat an all-goblin team. Prince Dorian would not approve.... But some real Stars are slowly emerging and this team might actually start winning. After a year long training odyssey in several distant demonic dimensions the Pugilists have returned - invigorated and skilled. Ready to finally show The Known World who's Da Boss! With Doomdriver at the wheel - and with the daemonic entity known as the Spider of Doom lurking in the background - it's time for the team to shine and break some bones. After being sucked in to a static void (AGAIN!...) during their return from the successful Linguistics game the Pugilists are back... Stripped for cash after bribing their way back from an untold hell they’re finally able to play once more! Must have been a sinister and vengeful dark elf trap... TROPHIES What is that?! His play-style often muddied up the team-tactics because of his belief in own abilities. But after a Rite of Passage in a demonic dimension he saw the light and accepted to coach the revitalized Pugilists. A pugilist pioneer and a major force in the early years of the team. He had been flirting with the idea of retirement for a while - just didn't break as many jaws like in the auld days - and Doomdriver kindly facilitated that decision. He might return as part of the coaching staff (which he did). One of the original squad members and a very tough cookie. Founder of the 3KC. In a Chaos Renegades mirror-match his journey ended abruptly when he was maimed by a beclawed brethren. A fitting end for a true Pug. Most deadly player to ever grace the roster. Almost always found a way to crush bones and slit throats. Reached superstar status and died following a GFI. The finest fouler to grace the team. Had a nag for squashing heavy armored opponents like hairy dwarfs and annoying big guys. He proclaimed towards the end of his tenure with The Pugs that he would retire after 50 games. Doomdriver convinced him to play on 'a bit more' - in his 51th game he was pummeled to death by a Dwarf blocker... Active Stars: Killalot Not, as his name might imply, a killer but an excellent ball handler and offensive orchestrater. Duskridge A Dark Elf with the speed of a blitzer and strength of a Chosen blocker. A frequent scorer of important touchdowns. Von der Donnerwetter Captain of the team and fast-blitzing powerhouse. *** Did you know?.. Trok'Rp'Zhredds first (and only) TD for the team came after bone-crushing blitz on a ballcarrier-thrall sending him out into the crowd - much to the regret of the opposing teams hungry vampire players. The ball fell straight into Troks bloody sticky hands and he danced his way into the far left corner of the Endzone. Eventually the game was lost but his former coach would have been proud... if the ogre hadn't killed him because of a dance related squabble. *** Did you know?.. Most bloody game was vs. some ill-tempered and fish worshipping chaos dwarfs with 4 dead opponents. That has to count as a win in Coach Doomdrivers black book for sure. Judd Bullet really proved his worth in this game and the troll Skullmincer was extremely focused and hungry for blood throughout the whole match. 3 Dwarfs and a Bull Centaur was slaughtered in this epic game. *** Did you know?.. The Disgraceful Retirement of a Giant: After a very below mediocre (!) showing in his 33rd game sadly Trok'Rp'Zhredd was retired. Even without him (and Morg who also graced the pitch with his ominous presence for a few seconds..) the Pugilists won a massive victory of 3-0 vs. the Angry Newscasters. Very angry indeed the Khemri quickly dispatched all 3 big guys to the infirmary and the 'little ones' had to fend for themselves - and they sure did! Post-game Coach Doomdriver consulted the mysterious entity and club owner - The Spider of Doom - and Troks contract was terminated. *** Did you know?.. That Judd Bullets popular cast-iron boots have become so famous that Pugilism Illustrated produced a limited quantity of very soughtafter replicas for those thug fanboys (...and girls and daemons) of the Northern Wastes who can’t see themselves exist without a pair of their own. They come complete with grounded chaos dwarf bones embedded in the bootheel to give you that genuine ‘Judd Bullet-krunch’. *** Did you know?.. That the goblin Foulstench finally managed a OTTD of sorts when Scruff Skullmincer threw him over the dwarven defense vs. Thanas in the dying moments of the game. A strong playing Necksnapper rushing around the right flank of the dumbstruck bearded men handed him the ball. Sneezz finished the dream play and ran in the 2-1 score to chaotic applause! Post match Skullmincer was allowed to eat the remains of the dead dwarven blitzer also courtesy of Necksnapper. *** Did you know?.. The Spider of Doom has been so generous to donate a home-field and Team Headquarters to The Pugilists following the death of the 1st ever Pugilist superstar Zlatan Darkstream. The mystical being erected a magical tower situated in the mountainous regions north of Kislev. Within it’s walls lies their new home stadium - The Darkstream Memorial Dome. *** Did you know?.. That the 3KC (the 3-Kills-Club) is an exclusive players club founded by Blitzroy ‘The Cursed Crooner’ Orbison - 1st player to reach 3 kills. The player with most kills (and most games) will automatically become the new Prez. Current members are...
