I'd guess that has more to do what system you are running and how your Browser handles downloads.

It is because of a Firefox update I think. Find how Firefox handles jnlp files in its settings and set it to open with javaws.exe again. Worked for me at least.

Darn, that seemed to work, since I'm back to only one pop-up now. But now games don't start at all. :D Darn you friggin firefox!!!

Yeah, I have this same issue. jnlp file association is set to java web start and firefox is set to use javaws as well but it still downloads it then I have to open the download to get the replay working instead of it just loading the replay on first click. restarting firefox and computer didn't change it either :/
