Introducing the Penny Dreadfuls Night Goblin team.

I've painted four or five teams by this stage so with this mob I wanted to push myself and do a unique team. I'm really inspired by some of the superb miniature painters on this site like spubbbba and Coffee_Monster and the conversions they do.

So this is a small step towards a more creative approach. The roster is suitable for use as a standard Goblin team (rather than the Secret League Night Goblins).


Nobbla Blackwart and Fungus The Loon are vintage miniatures I've had since I was teenager, the paint job was spruced up and models rebased. The Doom Diver is Rackham's Psycho Mutant, he has a Warpstone base (slightly out of shot). The Grots are Gloomspite Gitz I bought second hand and removed the weapons from. The Pogo'er is of course a Squig Hopper = )



Bomber Dribblesnot was badly broken when I first acquired him from a friend in about 1996.. it's taken me this long to pin him together. Ripper Bolgrot alas I must have trodden on - lost helmet spike and broken ankle - I did a quick fix for the Dark & Light Tournament last year (my first and to date only TT tournament). I've now made him a greenstuff bandage and pinned him to a round base. The other Troll is from the BB Second Season box (I will paint a meaner looking Troll for my Black Orc team) this gobbo throwing Troll was perfect for such a daft team; I had a go at a lava base and painted OSL flames flickering on the model.

The Penny Dreadfuls have Penny coins glued under the bases to give a nice weight, hence the team name.
