The original FUMBBL pitch was my inspiration and a newly opened Michael's Arts and Crafts store let me find the materials which are as follows:
1 Bristol Board 30 x 22 inch for a backing
5 sheets of square green paper, 4 whole and 1 cut to fill gaps
1 Sharpie water based paint pen, white
1 Roll of clear masking tape for holding pieces and laminating
I also had some measuring tape to get the spaces as even as possible, some scrap paper to map out all of my marks, dots and lines, and a couple rulers to get those lines as straight as possible. The hardest part was the masking tape though, laying it flat and not too scrunched though the air bubbles that are left are still plenty visible. Tricky, but I felt it necessary to hold everything together and protect it from the elements at the same time.
And of course the skull was just a lil something printed off and thrown in for flavor :)
