Automarking
As some of you hopefully have seen in the "What's new" dialogue of the new client there is now a new feature called "Automatic Marking".

But as this is easly missed and this feature could safe some people a lot of typing work (that might even cause accidental dismissal of a pop up) I figured it can't hurt to put up a post about it.

Basically you can define combinations of skills/injuries should be marked in the client and what string to use for that. The client will try to match all possible markings on a player apart from those that are subsets of one already applied.

The ordering on the website is currently of no concern for the client, so you have no real influence on the sorting. Should it turn out that this is a concern for a larger part of the community we will try to come up with a smart solution.

You can turn the setting on and off in the client anytime and that way even make adjustments during your games.

It works as player and spectator. For replays the markings are only generated once when loading the replay, the menu itself is not available in that mode. The reason for this is that the client only connects to the server to load the data and then disconnects so there is no way to load the data again.

This is brilliant, thank you very much. I've set mine up. Really nice to have everything marked up as soon as you spectate a match as well.

It seems that the markings are not loaded automatically when spectating a match. You have to toggle it once to show them.

I figured out the trick that you have to toggle it onto manual and then onto automatic each time (when spectating at least). So I do have the same issue.

One thing though, maybe I am just blind, but I believe we can't mark loners right now? Because I like to mark them with a .

I will request the ability to control the order. I like to have BDGST first as these are the most important skills (for me), and then I use numerous lower case, including bdgst to mean other things that are less pivotal.

This is great, but it seems to mark up all skills, including starting sills. Generally I know all the base skills and only want to mark up additional skills.

The default settings are just a fallback I added. If that does not meet your needs you can create your own.

Auto marking is a reallt great feature, thanks guys ! :)

Is there a documentation on this ? ===> Hypnotic Gaze can now be used with a custom skill value to be used instead of agility (requested by Secret League).

As I have a full custom league, I'd find interesting to use it, how does this work ? :)

@diablange: on the positions using that skill you should be able to set a skill value for gaze. If none is set (or 0) the Ag will be used as it was before, otherwise the given value will be used as baseline.

This is a really nice feature, thanks for installing it. I just noticed also you can use a tick option for players who have completed actions, rather than just the standard fade - that is really good too, particularly with some player images where it isn't that clear if they are in normal colours or faded.
