Is Christer a racist?
Disclaimer to admins** article pre-screened for bad words.

Standard Christer is great, yada, yada, yada. Standard Fumbbl is the greatest yada, yada, yada speech.

Over the weekend, there was a lot of debate appearing in chat about bad language and swearing. One admin stated no acronyms such as 'wtf' was permitted in the main chat room! Some of us North Americans called foul on a pretty dumb decision. Since some of us used acronyms to avoid using the bad words.

In Canada, the French have made laws and fought hard to protect the French language. The Quebecer’s understood that language=culture. If the language dies, so does the culture. It appears that Christer, who is English proficient but not English fluent, has allowed his chosen representatives (some who are also ESL) to tell us what we can and cannot say. It appears North American’s are being dictated how to communicate with each other in Fumbbl’s main chat room. Now, I have never seen anyone attack another with bad words or ‘swears’ in along time. But when paulhicks is being warned for typing “I suck” -common sense appears to be tossing the bath water out with the baby.

Christer has appeared to have taken an elitist attitude towards a language he is not fluent in. By Christer, I mean he is responsible for his hand chosen personal representatives. “Why can you not communicate without swearing?" is a direct elitist statement. English is more complex than that. Why in the hell can I not, as an adult, chose the way in which I communicate with others? As long as it is not personally directed or aimed at another, incites hate/ignorance or is untruthful/slanderous- what is the fricking problem? We use acronyms to comply with the language rules and yet are warned for using acronyms? When will the sillyness stop?

I for one, am tired of the elitist attitude taken towards my language and my culture by persons not fluent in English.
