Chop - Greatest Ogre of All Time
Chop - The Greatest Ogre of All Time!
Reporting by Gabbers Gobsmith for Bloody Mayhem Magazine

Reports have come in to us here at Bloody Mayhem Magazine that a new all-time great has emerged in the Blood Bowl world!
Chop, of the Back Alley Burglars surpassed War to claim the title of all-time greatest Ogre on an Ogre team during the Burglars' run during Season 19 of DIBBL (the Deserted Isles Blood Bowl Leeg).
Perhaps most impressively, Chop secured this after only 132 games compared to the whopping 274 it took War!

There are two known deceased Ogres who played for Human teams who were arguably 'bigger stars', but we are confident that Chop will dethrone even those dubious Ogres who strayed from the path.

So who is Chop, and what makes him so great?
Clearly he's fast, he's mean, and he's agile, but what is his story?
The Deserted Isles Blood Bowl League is played in the far flung reaches of the Blood Bowl world, but our research gnomes have managed to investigate and confirm that Chop's personal trophy cabinet contains no fewer than 7 personal top trophies in the league.
In both Seasons 13 and Season 17 he even secured a Trifecta of The Hen, The Ball, and the Fern!

Through interviews with local derelicts conducted by our field agents, Bloody Mayhem Magazine have pieced together something of a team history for this mob of violent giants.
First spotted in the fringes of the SWL where they were happily blooding aspiring teams, the Burglars were contacted by the officials at DIBBL and got tempted to come back home over the ditch.
Since their arrival, they have become a staple of the league.
It appears there is a bit of a black patch where there was no recorded history of games played (coincidentally when Coach DustBunny mysteriously vanished from the Deserted Isles), but the Burglars eventually returned with what appears to be an empty robe floating in the coaching dugout.
Bloody Mayhem Magazine have tracked down someone in the Wight Isles who appears to resemble Coach DustBunny, but all itinerant reporters sent to the location have mysteriously vanished before securing any extra comment.

Regardless of the mystery, since their return they have made their mark, and we eagerly anticipate watching their Season 20 run!
Keep an eye on the league matches dear readers, the DIBBL league games show live all over the known realms!
If Father Nurgle has you down, what better time to pick a DIBBL team to support and tune in live!
