A lot has been discussed about the Rule of Five, and not everybody agrees to it. Today, I want to present you the latest spin-off of Five:
The Curse of Five
I didn't really recognize it was there... for quite a long time. But then, it became too obvious to deny its existence.
I play Amazons a lot lately, more precisely my Ranked Ladies of the
Zons of Anarchy. You know, when you play Zons, you expect them to die a lot and without a doubt they'll do. So, first of I didn't even care about it. It's nature. But then, something alarming became obvious to me.
When I looked at the Zons'
past players, I recognized, that almost all of them died after 5 or a multiple of 5 games!!! No kidding.
Okay, I hear you say: "Hey, Nostradamus, you retired some of them yourself. Don't you wanna sell us a donkey for a race horse here?"
You, my doubtful friend, are right. Some of them were retired by me. But non of them intentionally at 5 or a multiple of 5 games. Believe me. Or convince yourself: The only exception to the Curse of Five,
Juice, played 17 games, before she got retired! I'm more than sure, that it wouldn't have been her time to die yet. 3 more games, and she had been on that list nonetheless, send there by Grim Reaper Nuffle itself.
Still doubting? I can understand you, I did not trust this horiffic discovery myself... until today.
In
this game, I apo'ed
Tig after a deadly injury, and of course it succeeded. 28 games, not her time, Nuffle! So f**k off, you Zon of a Birch!
And what did Nuffle? Soon after, Nuffle got
Bobby Elvira, member of the chapter right from its start: 25 games played... of course!
And so you can't say it must be an unlucky coincidence, star catcher
Gemma got her final curtain call, too. And you might have already guessed it: 25 games played!!!
There can't be anyone out there, who asks for more evidence. This team plays under the
Curse of Five.
They might be haunted, but they keep on playing. They have to do... what else can bring them salvation in the end?
