Ok! First off in my last blog post (2017, wow) I said I would never be buying players/etc for TT games. Seems I lied to myself and lied hard. The interest in 3D printing players sort of hit the wayside due to busy life things.
So now I have a table made and ready for crafting along with a bunch of bits!
I found myself walking by a hobby shop near where I live and low and behold they have a bits box filled with 40mm metal Roman Auxiliaries(I think) for an exceptional price.
With 4 different body positions and 5 copies of each; 4 types of heads and arms (the bag in the background has 3); and a huge clutter of swords and shields I decided not to say no. I even went online and found myself some sensible models for a coach and a cheerleader.
So now this is the first part of my new and un-solicited team crafting blog. Putting all the guys together will be fun and likely making turn markers a rr tokens from the equipment. I just worry about painting since I am a terrible newbie at that, practice will be a priority so later blogs might be few and/or far between. But I have to make myself start!
