Badly Hurt now 6 in 16 so should be less frequent than before.
Death 2 in 16
The rest MNG (3 in 16), MNG + Niggle (3 in 16), MNG + Perm (2 in 16)

I am really feeling that those MNGs seem to stack up quick

If I had a nickle for every niggle...

Niggle is better though in that it only adds +1 to the d16 CAS roll and not +1 to the injury roll... but yes, my cas distribution is very Serious Injury centric

If you're not one to pore over, analyse (and maybe post some premature judgements on) every word of the rulebook before actually playing the new game, part of the fun is realising some things are different from play and then digging in to the rules to understand what's going on.
I found out about he new more generous winnings system in a nice way, by realising my Elven Union team seemed to be stacking cash at hitherto unknown rates could (briefly) afford a full roster of sixteen elves! (I know this is not recommended, but I did anyway becuase I could)
Only then did I ponder how this might be intended to interact with the new upskilling system. It's like a trove of new toys of waiting to be unearthed!
For all those coaches months ahead of me - more power to you!

In the old rules BH was 50%, 50% MNG or dead.
In BB2020 the D16 table is:
1-6: Badly Hurt 37.5%
7-9: Seriously Hurt (MNG) 18.75%
10-12: Seriously Injury (NI) 18.75%
13-14: Lasting Injury (Stat reduction) 12.5%
15-16: Dead 12.5%
bad news: BH is less common now, 37.5% and MNG or Dead is more common, 62.5%.
good news: you can keep a player with a niggling now.

And, since PA is not important for certain players, you could keep a player with -PA too.

And though everything Matt says is correct, just breaking it down into simple stats on a roster, you will now see BH:SI:Dead in a ration 3:4:1 whereas before it was 3:2:1, so as a proportion of Cas suffered, SIs will be the highest stat (though your DEs were still statistically unlikely).

@Rags with the fast cash and new upskilling, yes it does seem like now it is viable to get 3spp, take a random skill, and cycle the ones you don't like pretty quickly

A strategic consideration about the less common BH/more common MNG and Dead is that the Apo is worse now.
If you play with the aim of winning the current game, without caring about long-term player preservation, there is lower chance that a player you want to keep on the pitch will be BH because most injuries are MNG and the Apo does not automatically heal them.
This is what bothers me about the new Injury table.

The only logical conclusion is that Nuffle does not approve of untying dark hearts. Repent!

@Sp00keh good call thanks - was being prissy about random skills
