I'm a big open source fan boi (I founded the Free Gamer blog http://freegamer.blogspot.com).
ADOM is an old roguelike. I don't see the value in resurrecting it when there's some great community-owned alternatives (http://www.te4.org/) out there or far more innovative games (Dwarf Fortress).
Other players/fans may disagree.

I've played a ton of ADOM for free so I'm happy to chip in a little if its creator wants to develop it further and try a commercial venture. I'll check out TE4 at some point too, though.
