Rated 6 for realizing that nuffle hates concessions! ;)
And 25-64 doesn't sound too bad... it's elves after all. Here's my 19 game pro elf team at 20-71: https://fumbbl.com/p/team?team_id=763656
They averaged 4+ cas taken over their first 8 games! But those streaks don't last, and they found their stride eventually and started picking up wins. Elves do that!
Try playing some stunties, or vamps or slann for a while. 20 games of slann, and if you go back to woodies after that they will seem like easy mode. ;)

Seems a bit low, my pro Elf team is at 43 - 69 after 28 matches but your match-ups have been against bashier teams so that's probably what is skewing it. Defenders of Caledor have potential though, so I would keep at it. Heck, you've still got a full team & 250K in savings!
Getting that MA9 blitzer to his next skill would help some :)

I will help you change the game plan...play the Buccaneers and have fun!!!!

I have to wonder..you pointed out that your elves are being out CASed by a good margin.
Did you expect a CAS differential that was positive?

Did you think you had the first ELF team that would post a positive CAS differential over the long haul?
your elves are that unique? that special?

Nerdbird, I watched TCO steal your pants and run them up the flagpole last night and I think there were a few areas for improvement -
1. Select your blitz better - turn 3 first half there's a SS Blodge Catcher marking the ball after an errant catch. You elect to blitz with a block mighty blow blitzer - which is a nice thought if you get the POW but...
You could have made a 3d6 block with 2 moves and then 2 dodges with the blodge wrestle catcher. 3d6 Reroll with Wrestle, I'd take it. Picked up with 1 GFI from the MB Blitzer and elected to pass to 2 players with room to run towards the endzone. Trying to stretch your luck after using a team reroll especially on a 4+...
2. Play in a less risky order. Turn 5 first half you heave a pass with an AG5 lino on a 3+...before you could potentially move the blodge catcher into a space that can screen in case of failure or can act as a receiver on a backwards pass where the ST4 AG5 lino works as a screen so you can score next turn on a handoff potentially. 1/36 fail first then 1/9 fail.
That's what I gleaned from that pants stealing.
And here's the thing, everyone makes these kinds of small errors that are easily identified in hindsight. I'd even say that I suffer from way more impulsive action issues than you do with quick decisions that lead to folly. But those two moves show that the process, if not the outcome can be improved.

Yes.
Yes.
And Yes. Annnnd yes.
Actually, I am well aware we will take it on the chin. What I was not aware is that scoring is proving to be very difficult, our opponents have been out-elfing us and they are handling the ball like a champ! And KO's....I feel like the KO box always has a second row any more. :-)
I mostly play the AV 8 Elven varieties and I am struggling lately because, despite my efforts, the opponents are caging up well and trudging down the field. I really do not have anything to bust a cage, and every skill I take that leads me down that path only puts a mark on that players back! :-)
@happygrue: Slann seems like it could be fun and maybe I can do an ARR sprint with them. Target a finish of a cool 6-4-6.

@mrt1212 Yeah, that was a rough one. The whole game I had everyone out of position. In 125 games with High Elves and Dark Elves I have only given up 4 scores 3 times. I may not win a lot but I usually play pretty tight defense. He had things going pretty handily for him so I started playing off the cuff a little too much. Thanks for the advice.

getting behind on a very sunny day where you suffer 2 CAS from dodge fails and 3 more from blocks before the half will always be an uphill battle but sometimes they can still provide some insight into how we play

Slann sprint for the... break even record! A worthy goal! \o/

I thought the Orc punishment game was gonna be some horrible cas affair but a 1-0 loss with two mng isn't so bad.

Watch the replay....for Rookie Dwarfs vs rookie Orcs...it was punishment.

Pfft... Putin decides what is punishment!

When you read "Literally punished" you expect something really evil... 3 CAS sufferend, no perms. You don't have any idea of what "punished" means, or, if this is the max punishment for your teams, you are really lucky! :D
+1 Jimmy, Putin said he's always right!
