Ignorance or Stupidity?
Sometimes I get a little agitated over non-important things, and yesterday was one of those days. The singers Sandi Thom's album was reviewed in a local magazine. I am no big fan of her, but I enjoyed her hit, I wish I was a punkrocker, because I liked the message. So she get an average review, and then the guy doing the interview said he didn't get the message in her hit, I wish I was a punkrocker. And that it was a stupid and ignorant song. The reason for this was that punkrockers did not have flowers in their hairs, and he saw no common ground for the flower power movement and the punk rock movement.

I say, he and everyone else who can't see the common ground are either ignorant or stupid. One or the other. It is okey not to like the song, that is a question of taste, and taste should differ. But I do not want my son to grow up where stupid people, like this reviewer, have the power to influence young minds.
