Humble Bundle
I wanted to thank everyone for the Cartoon Character recommendations. Again, I was reminded why I just love Cartman's "Respect my authoritay". Humour really can help you overcome really troubling encounters.

I was overwhelmed by the response. Hopefully, I'll find some joy from all your recommendations.

And with that in mind, I want to share another gift to you that I'm sure a lot of you will enjoy.

It's a bunch of "free" e-books from some great authors. There's the always entertaining Neil Gaiman and one of my favourite recent discoveries: Cory Doctorow. So enjoy the book and support many worthwhile endeavours.

I read and re-read, re-re-read every letter ever written by Jasper Fforde. You have to be at least a bit of a nerd to get it, but that should not be a big problem on a Bloodbowl website :)

Another author who'se every work I own and keep reading is Christopher Brookmyre, who combines one of the most sardonic senses of humour in the literary world with truly great stories and characters.

Only read 1 novel from Doctorow (Little Brother) and I did really like it. Thanks for the reminder, although it should cost me another bundle of money in Amazon puchases........

I love the Humble Bundle indie games bundles - they usually have at least one awesome game in. I'm also a big fan of Indie Royale, which is very similar.

Cory Doctorow is amazing... he hosts ALL of his work on a website, so you can read his stuff while you are saving up the money to buy his books. Everything he writes is in free format at his website. I try to find a way to work his writing into every one of the art classes I teach. If you haven't read him yet, go check his work out at
