It makes you wonder, though.
Because I just did a short survey.
In the Box (where it may be argued that the toughest stars are born), my Star Catcher Death Wish has recently advanced to the position of Top Wood Elf Star.
And with a meagre 79 SPP, he's still quite a bit ahead of his competetion. So what does that have to do with the other races in the Box?
Only this... FOR NO OTHER RACE IS THE NUMBER OF SPP NEEDED TO BECOME THE BRIGHTEST STAR SO LOW...
The High Elves come close, with their Top Box Star having 81.
But EVERY single race has higher requirements than the Box Wood Elves... even the Gobbos, the 'flings and the Vamps.
And why is this? Because Wood Elves just don't survive long in the Box - not if they're visible on the field at least. So if you're hunting for first places in the top lists, forget about starting a Chaos team and beating the 330 SPP current top guy.
Play Wood Elves... and you're already halfway to the top of the lists... ;)
(of course, the flip side of this is that the reason the top record holders are so easy to beat is because there tends to be a lot of Wood Elf-squashing going on)
But that's part of the fun!
And you can be sure that Death Wish has his eyes set on Kevin Whine's legendary 117 SPP All-Time-Wood Elf Box record.

Well my woodies have something of a hiatus since they slowed down a lot to win the Minor and now my Lizards are getting all the attention in preparation for the Crown.

The scheduler rarely sees fit to match my woodies against other opponents... it may take me a while to catch you ;-)

My woodies have yet to have a player susrvive the aging roll at 31SPP... once I pass that I'll start to catch up! :p

Although I do wish you luck on your quest for stardom, I'd really like to suggest you spread the spps around in the team instead of getting them all on one player. It is better for the team imo. And the better the team, the longer the Death Wish can be denied. ;-)
