First game
I played my first Academy game on FUMBBL tonight. I was soundly beaten 2 - 0. I made several (three that I can remember) 1-space errors which cost me one shot at a touchdown, put me in a desperate TD-save scenario, and prevented me from scoring at the end of the first half.

Luck went 49% - 64% or something crazy, so I can always blame the dice, but my mistakes mattered more. You shouldn't count on the dice for anything.

Fie on all Dwarf Runners with Block!

Perhaps learning has occurred.

Hi
Just visited your wood elves.
Quick hint : You may want to start with more FF and ReRolls.
In "ranked" it will be hard for you to find opponent who want to play you because of your low FF, and if you find a game, you will quickly have turnover withouth any or few rerolls.

Greetings, MaG

Cheers!

High FF is important, but low FF on WE is not a reason lots of ppl will turn you down.
Low FF on Dwarves and you will spend hours and hours looking for games without getting any.

That said, high FF is crucial for WE, since you'll always need the money to replace players.
And Rerolls is important to.

Welcome, hope you'll like it here.

welcome aboard!

Have a read of the fantastic strategy area on fumbbl:
http://fumbbl.com/help:Strategy
Especially the Racial Strategies which have brilliant info on how to start teams:
http://fumbbl.com/help:RaceStrategy

Oh and ignore the luck-meter, it doesn't really mean anything!

welcome to fumbbl...

dont get disillusioned no matter how many games you lose, it took me at least 100 (and i'm still learning) games to become even a reasonable challenge to people!

Enjoy!
Oh... and dont play [B]lackbox until you have a good grasp of the client and win a few games - its cutthroat!

:)

Welcome.

Never blame the dice and the 'luck' monitor does NOT measure luck. ;)

I agree on the Block with all runners on the dwarf teams.

Cheers!
