One of the things I love about PeteW (among many) is that he dosent mind (as far as I know) us taking the piss out of Jesus because he knows that we're not being serious. Its a good trait to have and has led to lots of funny moments in chat (as well as PLANK).

These last few days I saw some stuff that I didnt get and didnt find especially funny. Maybe they are but it didnt look like they were entirely in jest from this end (I'm not christian btw). I'm not convinced that this is the way to go...

Saying that Jesus never existed. Fine. Unfortunately going on and on about it wasnt especially entertaining after a short while (perhaps I'm wrong). Either the people actually believed what they were saying (in which case they need to check their facts) or it was a joke that went on for too long.

Either is understandable, if not in great taste (which I am clearly an expert on) :D

Now I am reading blogs that state clearly and without shame that the author believes that people worshiping Jesus are both a) stupid and b) disgracing God.

I dont like this one bit. I'm not sure if its within site rules but it dosent have the feel of jest to me, not least because of the response to Macavity. If it was jest then it should be owned up as soon as it is misinterpreted (i.e. saying sorry, I genuinely idnt mean it that way, I said it badly). If this wasnt a misunderstanding...well... I'm not impressed.

Sorry for the long and winding blog, lets get back to fouling. I noticed a blog about that, lets blog it some more. Face it, it rocks!
