80% of what you read in the news, or watch on the news channel,
Is propaganda.
I'm not talking about fox here, even a career janitor knows it's full propaganda.
I'm talking about any piece of news. Almost all of it have underlying intentions about what the writers (And so their bosses) think.
Some investors say that not reading the news at all helps long-term investing.
News are for sheep. Please if you read news never trust what you read has the impartial truth.

Owner interests DO matter in media, as other businesses. That's why I mostly read Le Monde, which one of the few papers left that is really independent.
