Equestrian Min-Maxers Retired
Almost two months ago, a friend of mine in real-life gave me a dare. He dared me to play 100 games of FUMBBL with a Chaos Pact team that consisted of not a single big guy. I accepted, and that day the Equestrian Min-Maxers were born, on an auspicious 10th of October.
It has been a rollercoaster of a ride, with memorable moments including a 4 turn pitch clear, getting hate-mail from sore losers, getting Calcium as a fan, and many others besides. But after a recent mangling at 103 games, the team resembles a Rookie one again, with only 1 ClawPOMBer, a ballhandler and a Block/MB Marauder.
Now, I could rebuild the team back into their former glory, but I asked myself: why? I had achieved the goals of hitting 100 games with a winning record, with positives in both TDs and CAS. I had acquired almost 3 million in the bank and retired no less than 7 teams.
But I’d learned already how to play them, and rebuilding would offer only more of the same. So today, one hated team in the Blackbox has departed. I think it’s time for me to use my Wood Elves more often.

I played 3 times equestrian min-maxers (with rats and HE), won one, tied two. Proud of having made your challenge a bit more difficult :)
... cas diff was -8, as a side effect.

yeah, every time i act like an arse i make a story up to justify why too.
I often use the 'a mate bet me'. It is better, usually, to name the mate, and possibly even the bet, or the drunked circumstances. But sparse and hinting can work too.
Of course it all falls apart when it turns out you are still an arse afterwards. the point of the excuse is to use it to change, i wonder if change will stick.
