So a while ago I bought a Macbook Air...
And I can't believe how happy I am with it!

I'd had a big toss up (including several posts on FUMBBL asking for opinions), but eventually decided to go for the Macbook Air, reasoning that the portability outweighed whatever functionality I was going to lose.

...Amazingly, it feels like I've lost nothing. My Dell desktop still sees use for the occasional video compression and a couple Windows-only CAD programs, but aside from that the Macbook is doing everything else from travel to coursework to watching videos/FUMBBL.

Money well spent here :)

P.S. I also tried Windows 8, and it can kiss my...

yeah, the '8' sorta looks like someone trying a bit too hard to pucker up. just like the sourpatch guy on the candies when he watches this little bronie play his min/max's. as long as the Air can play fumbbl then its acceptable (to him).

The air is pretty sweet... super fast, eh? My wife wants a MacBook Pro still... even though I think she'd be just as happy with an Air. Meh...
