Saurus interception ends Vamp fightback!
If ineptitude was at fault for the Jugglers previous defeat, then lady luck turning her back on the ruthless neck-biters was squarely to blame for their recent defeat at the hands of the Slithering Saurus. At first sight, little seemed to have changed from the Jugglers previous match. Vampires suffering blood lust and an inability to block effectively, ensured that Xlanhuapec Hunter muscled his way through for an early touchdown.

But what followed was just a bizarre set of circumstances as ones likely to witness for a while yet! A stunning kick off from the Slithering saw the wind whip the ball back to just in front of their line of scrummage, effectively ensuring that a ruck would ensue between the two teams. With any kind of play immediately snuffed out, an easy turnover was handed to the mighty Saurus' whilst coach Clownfoot cursed Nuffle loudly from the sidelines.

The second half kick off fared much better with Lord Bitten easily collecting the ball; but with the Saurus' quickly looking to pile-on, the experienced rookie found only a long pass to one of his Thralls as an available option to an otherwise unpleasant smackdown. The throw was good! Except that Xhotl Hunter (a sodding Saurus) rose like a salmon, clutched the ball to his chest like a baby, and promptly legged it down field for the Slithering's second score. Coach clownfoot simply held his head in his hands, like that Arsene Wenger bloke, asking what exactly he had done wrong to deserve such punishment from the good lady!

Despite Bitten making up for the failed pass with a late touchdown, not enough time remained to equalise. The Jugglers can rightly feel a little hard done by to circumstance. A flooky kick and an unbelievable play from a balletesque twinkle-toed Saurus all but blew the wind out of their sails. Clownfoot said "Blood Bowl is one of those games that will kick you in the balls not once, not twice, but relentlessly until they swell up to the size of a cabbage. Still, it would help if wehad anybody else in the team besides Lord Bitten capable of playing the damn game..."

Bitten has scored four in four. No one else has yet to score for the Jugglers. Nuff said!

(Well played asharak, coach of the Slithering Saurus. A corking and rather enjoyable game to play despite the frustration of the dice!)
