Perhaps praying to Nuffle really does works! Three games after the beating handed to them by the Ogres of "That Wonderful Stuff" and The Jugglers have finally found some form. Unbeaten in those three, featuring two victories, including this one against a skillful and quick Dark Elf team and all of a sudden they look like a rejuvenated team rather than a laughing stock. Perhaps Nuffle's suggestion to coach Clownfoot of using the Vamp's to hypnotize opponents has borne some fruit after all...

The return to form of Lord Bitten was key, scoring twice despite feeding four times on team mates to satiate his cravings, but fellow Vampire Clownfoot Passmore was equally involved in ensuring the two successful touchdown plays were managed by not needing to feed all match. A luxury that only Vampire coaches can pray for. Despite this the Lizards were unfortunate not to score an equalizer - some lackluster defending by The Jugglers went unpunished when the Lizards concluding play ended in final minute dash and a rather painful stack just before the endzone. Harsh, and The Jugglers will know that the same misfortune has previously visited them, but a win is a win, and that is all the Vamp's cared about as they celebrated with a traditional post match (blood) bath with some otherwise flexible cheerleaders!
