Cool! Hope you get it to work.
I know Kam is great with Linux, if you don't get it to work

Unfortunately you can't play with it, since there is no Java web start (javaws) provided by Oracle for ARM chipset. Open java's (OpenJDK) web start (Icedtea) works on ARM, but unfortunately the FUMBBL client is not compatible with OpenJDK.

yeah I got Java now (I think) but it won't open the client, I'm guessing that's why :(
Oh well thanks for confirming for me

I'm on linux. I use ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS. It runs the Fumbbl client with Icedtea webstart. I previously tried running other linux OS but their version of the webstart couldn't start the client for me either, or if it did, it was unable to acces vital information, such as the player ID loggin into the game.
The plugin it uses to run the applet is a specific ubuntu version. 1.5-1ubuntu1.
I don't know the differences between this specific plugin and the ones I tried previously. But, I have a hunch it's in the security settings or the extended applet security. Works for me now, so havn't been scrounging around for solutions.
@SzieberthAdam: ...and you can't start the client by running javaws /path/to/downloadedoracle-javaws?

Another thing, I'm visiting my mom and dad later. My father is a total linux/Pi Geek. He got his PI nesting in a LEGO case... :) I promise to see what can be done and not!!!
onward to glory!

HUZZAH!
I just got my Pi last week, its all new to me, please feel free to let me know your findings, i would be very interested as i'm a complete noob to programming extra. like it took me about 3 hours of searching to find the command "startx" yesterday because i had changed one of the settings inadvertently on the first start up and didn't even know where to look or what to type in google to search...

@Ludovicious: There is simply no javaws present when you install oracle java for ARM chipset. Nowhere.
Good to know you made the client work with Icedtea.
@frogboy: Learning to get full control over your computer is one of the beauties of the Pi... or having Arch Linux... or Arch Linux on the Pi. :)

I will never have full control over my computer, on a good day I can say my computer doesn't have full control over me! ;P
